Matt Markus Matt Markus was born and raised in the Lehigh Valley and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1999. After four years of baseball for the Crusaders, Matt took his skills to Seton Hall University and went to the other side of the microphone. Matt had the fortune of calling play-by-play for Seton Hall Soccer, Baseball and Basketball. During the summer of 2002, he received a championship ring as the #2 broadcaster for the Atlantic League Champion Newark Bears Baseball Team. Matt graduated magna cum laude from The Hall in 2003 with a degree in Communication. After a year of locker room reporting for ESPN/SportsTicker, Matt landed at ESPN Radio of the Lehigh Valley as a producer for the Happy Hour in July of 2004. Matt can now be heard as a co-host of the Happy Hour three days a week. Matt is the Game Day Host and Sideline Reporter for Lehigh University Football and is the voice of Lehigh University Women's Basketball. Matt Markus is a proud supporter of the New York Mets, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Pistons and Red Wings. His college hoops team will always be the Seton Hall Pirates and his college football team remains the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
